I was born in Rome and now live and work in New York City. I grew up surrounded by art — my grandfather was a painter and my mother studied scenography — and from an early age I understood that art could hold what words often cannot. Later, working as an art restorer deepened my respect for history, fragility, and transformation.
My work is deeply personal. It is shaped by my journey through healing, by living far from home, and by navigating motherhood without a family network around me. Painting became a way to reconnect with my body, my voice, and my inner truth after years of struggling with eating disorders.
Through layered color and texture, I explore the strength, vulnerability, and resilience of women — not as ideals, but as lived experiences. Each piece is part of an ongoing process of becoming.
